Happy Valentine's Day!

Being single, Valentine's Day is not a holiday I think much about. In my new job, I've had to create an ad for a store with hearts in it, and I've had to e-mail the campus about Valentine's stuff at the campus store, but other than that, I haven't given it much thought at all. I forgot that it was even today. Until my nephew, who goes to school here, walked through the door with a Gerbera Daisy plant and a teddy bear for me, from my sister. How sweet is that? I never seem to be dating anyone at Valentine's Day - any of the major holidays, really, so that I always get cheated out of those gifts - so this is the first time I've gotten anything for Valentine's Day in a very long time. It was a very nice surprise, and just another reminder of why I'm lucky to have the sister I have.
