Cheddar and Sour Cream, Yum

I was just sitting at work, dying for something but I didn't know what. A bag of cheddar and sour cream Ruffles from the machine outside of the office just totally saved my life. Even if it did cost 90 cents - and it's one of those little bags that I still think shouldn't cost more than a quarter. Whatever. Sometimes you just need the chips more than you need to be thrifty.

In a semi related note, I have to go to the doctor on November 5th for my annual check-up type visit. I should be eating less and exercising in a last minute effort to get my weight, cholesterol and blood pressure at least slightly down. But I'm not. Why, when I know what I need to do and what will make me healthy, do I keep doing the stuff that is bad for me (but tastes and feels oh so good)? I know I'm not alone in this, but I still wonder why I can't get control of that part of my brain. I can quit soda and then limit my intake of it when I start drinking again, I can quit chocolate for 40 days (but not limit my intake of it when the 40 days were over), but I can't make myself like to eat fruit and veggies or make myself limit the fattening, greasy stuff. And forget exercising - ick.

I don't know. I'm a mystery to myself sometimes.

And I'm not making any sense, so that's all for now. Doggy pictures tomorrow, so make sure to check back. :)

Sorry you have to go to the doctor's and listen about how you're not perfect. :( Don't doctor's know how annoying that is?!

Also, thank goodness for tiny overpriced bags of chippie heaven! Even though you got a gross flavor. :gag:
