I came home from work last night, and there were lights on in my house, the dogs had already been let out, dinner was cooking, and I was greeted on the front lawn by my boyfriend. That is an experience that I have NEVER had, and it was so nice! I could seriously get used to coming home to find J already there, cooking for me.
We had a really good night, too. After (a candlelit) dinner of baked chicken breasts and rice, we watched the first three episodes of Buffy, which he liked. He doesn't love it yet, but I didn't either until I had finished watching the first season, so I have hope that he'll turn into a fan like me.
And somehow around all the episodes of Buffy, we managed to have a really incredible night while the DVD was off or paused. He's worked his way into my heart, somehow. I am not ready to say those three words to him yet, but I'm getting closer. I like being with him. A lot.
And in non-J related news, it took four Advil in four hours, but I managed to kick that headache, finally. I'm feeling like it's trying to come back now, but it may just be a result of staring at the computer for too long, and I am now armed with a new bottle of Advil of my very own (thanks to J), so I don't even have to beg them from Jamie, like I did yesterday. So if it does seem like it's coming back, I'll take some more. I'm not sure what the heck was wrong with me this weekend, but thank goodness it seems like it's gone.
Currently reading: Lisey's Story, by Stephen King. I haven't had much free time that hasn't been spent editing or talking to or being with J, so I'm not very far into this. I also haven't played the Sims in like a month. This having a life thing really cuts into my hobbies/obsessions. :)
Currently listening: to my Internet radio, which is currently playing something called "Learn to Fly" from Carbon Leaf.
Currently watching: the clock, as I wait for lunchtime.
Currently wishing: That you are all having as good a day as it is possible for you to have.
