Dodging Bullets

Whew, that was close. In a case of temporary insanity, I signed up a couple of months ago for the corporate challenge, which is a 3.5 mile race/walk held in Syracuse, sponsored by corporations to support charity. I was SO not looking forward to it. Exercise is not my favorite activity, unfortunately. But! I dodged that one. The race was cancelled due to record heat. Woo! Now I get to go home and sweat in the privacy of my home, instead of in the company of 7,000 other sweaty people. MUCH better.

Plus, I got a Day-Glo yellow t-shirt out of the deal. Seriously. They would have been able to see me from miles away, as I trudged my way across the 3.5 mile line.
