Today when I walked to lunch, there were some agriculture students outside, handing out free beechnut trees. So of course, I took one. On the way back from lunch, Jamie took one too, and gave it to me. Now I have two new trees to plant at home! Woo! I hope I can keep them protected and alive long enough for them to take root and start to grow. I'll have to put a fence of some sort around them, or I'll run over them with the mower for sure. (I'm not the most graceful.)
