Work Visitors!

I had visitors at work today! One of my coworkers is friends with a woman who breeds Bernese Mountain Dogs, and she brought two of them in today.

This is Odie - she's six months old. I got on the floor and petted her, and she was so soft and fluffy! And friendly and sweet and a bundle of energy. I would love to have one of these puppies someday, but crate training would be a definite thing - she could get in a lot of trouble running around the house when no one was home.

Her friend was outside in the car - the woman didn't want to bring a full sized Bernie into the office. Here she is.

She is pregnant, due to have puppies in a couple of weeks, I guess, although she didn't look that big at all. She reminded me a lot of my own Bernie - sweet and lovable and a bit of a dufus head. :) I mean that in the best way, of course. This breed is just so sweet and affectionate! I love them, even if they aren't the sharpest tacks in the shed.

Anyway, I loved having them visit, and I have decided that we should have doggy visitors at work every day! It would make work much more enjoyable for me. I'd never want to call in sick!
