Gracie is starting to put her foot down when she walks - at least when she walks slowly. She's not putting her full weight on it yet, and she's still hopping on three legs when she moves more quickly, but when she's just walking along at a slow pace, she's putting it down. I am SO happy. I feel like maybe her leg really will heal, and maybe she'll be back to having the run of the house all the time in the next couple of weeks, even when I'm not here to watch her.
Her leg and foot had been rather swollen, too, and that seems to be going down. Her foot looks like a more normal size today. Woo! I needed these good signs. Now I can stop worrying about her so much.
So today is going to be a quiet, boring kind of day, I think. I'll be watching a Netflix movie this morning so that I can send it back. If I get it in the mail today, I should get The Golden Compass on Tuesday, and I really want to see that, now that I've read the books. And other than watching that movie, I have a Sims story to write and maybe some Sims to play, I have a book that I'm close to finishing (Duma Key, by Stephen King) and I have two weeks worth of ellens and three weeks or more of General Hospitals on the DVR to watch. I might not stick with the GHs, though. I'm getting kind of sick of it, after five years of watching it every day.
And now I'm going to start my movie and hold my kitty, who is healing so well. I hope you all have great Saturdays.
Less noise, more me
