Spring Has Come

Spring has finally arrived. I took the down comforter off my bed and put on the warm weather quilt (it might be too early, but I just had to do it). I can't wait until it gets a little bit warmer, so that we can stop running space heaters altogether, and open the windows to let the fresh spring air come in and force the stale winter air out.

I started taking out the ladybugs who have been living in my house all winter. The dogs and I sat outside in the sunshine for 15 minutes or so, just soaking it in. I felt like a flower, lifting its head to the sun.

I missed you, spring. Welcome back.
