All about Eve
1950
Bette Davis
Anne Baxter
George Sanders
Celeste Holm
I watched All about Eve this morning. I can't remember if I've ever watched a movie with Bette Davis in it before! I had that song in my head the whole time I was watching it. You know, "She's got! Bette Davis eyes!" There, now it's in your head, too.
I really liked this movie! In it, Bette Davis plays Margo, a middle aged famous stage actress, who is dating her director, and is good friends with her playwright and his wife. Anne Baxter plays the title character of Eve, a young woman who idolizes Margo and worms her way into her life. She acts as assistant to her, basically, and pretty soon is fully into Margo's life, handling things for her and taking care of as much as she can.
Which is when her true colors come out. I won't tell you more, because this is a movie worth watching, and I don't want to spoil it for anyone who may watch it. And if you like old movies at all, you should watch it!
I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Ha ha ... I read the title of your post and thought, wow all about me, how nice! I think it's the cold medicine that has me a bit looopy....
Ha! :) I would think the same thing if I saw an "All about Denise" post on your blog. :D
