Ornament

J's mother asked all of the family to make an ornament for their family tree this year. I looked up Christmas ornament patterns online and found a site that had a pattern for a crocheted dolphin ornament, holding a wreath. Well, given the fact that J is a Dolphins football fan, that was the one we had to make, and of course in a color close to the Dolphin's blue/green. :) It took me an hour and a half or so to finish, and this is the finished product. Not bad, huh? I think it's cute, anyway. Of course, I got super glue all over my fingers trying to glue the eyes on, but oh well. I didn't glue my fingers together, and I didn't glue the eyes to the tips of my fingers, so I consider it a success.

I was going to stay at work until 5:15 yesterday to finish making up time from going to the dentist on Thursday, but I was ready to get out of there by 3:00, so I said screw it. Forty-five minutes doesn't add up to much money anyway, so whatever. I left at 4:30, on time. :) And now I am on vacation until January 2nd. Woo! I love Christmas break.

I still have to call my sister to see when everything is happening at their house for Christmas. I think we're going to J's parents' house in the morning, so we'll be at Donna's in the afternoon. Which is good - we'll get to see everyone, which is always nice.

And okay, now I'm off. We have cleaning to do and laundry to do and movies to watch. Later, gators!
