Tree Pics

As promised (I think) - pictures of my trees! The living room tree is lit up and pretty. :) I love having the tree up, I really do. It makes the house happier.

I went to my sister's house for dinner last night, and found out a little bit about what's going to go on this weekend with the calling hours/funeral for Mabel. I have to go to calling hours on Friday afternoon, and then the funeral (if they can bury her - if the ground is too frozen, they won't be able to) will be on Saturday sometime. She didn't know the times, yet, but I'll find them out at some point. I'm NOT looking forward to this. I know I'm not alone in this, but I hate funerals.

It wasn't all sad talk while I was there, though. My great-niece Ava has apparently decided that she likes me, finally. She's only been living here for a couple of years, so it took her long enough. :) We were eating chicken nuggets together, because I couldn't eat the creamed ham that my sister was making (the dairy thing), and she slid up onto the table on her belly and was talking to me, only inches away from my face. It was cute. She was asking me about my house, if it was the same as her Mommy's. I told her no, and that she should come to see my house someday, and I would put the big, noisy dogs into the mudroom, and she could see the house and my kitties. She liked that idea. She's cute.

I got three Netflix movies in the mail today - Hairspray, Superbad and Elf. I've seen the last one, but J hadn't, so I got it for us both to watch. I think we're in for some good DVD time soon. I'll watch Hairspray by myself, though. It's not really J's kind of movie. :)

See that picture over there? My Flounder, and J's Sebastian. So cute! :)

This is a smiley sort of entry, isn't it? Which is good. Better to be smiley than not.

Okay, I guess that's all I have for now, so I'll leave you with a picture of our bedroom tree. His precious ornaments, and mine, all together on one small tree. I love having the tree in our bedroom. It's fun.

Edited to add: I love Hairspray! I just finished watching it, and I immediately added it to my amazon.com wishlist. Love! I want to watch it again, and I think I would if I didn't have to get up for work tomorrow. :)
