Christmas Eve Day

Merry Christmas Eve!

As mentioned yesterday, Sarah and I went ice skating today. It was very fun - and I managed to not fall on my ass even once! Sarah didn't fall either, so we did really well. We had one near collision where she had stopped on the wall and I almost ran into her, but that was it. When we first went out on the ice, I was hugging the wall for dear life, afraid to even move my feet. But a childhood spent on roller skates can't be denied, and once I got used to the ice, I was skating away from the wall pretty well. I kept having to take breaks, though, because my ankles were trying to give out on me and I kept losing my center of balance. It reminded me of how much fun skating is, though, and now I want to buy a pair of roller skates. I probably won't do it, because when the heck will I ever use them? Oh but man, I want them.

I also went to Walmart today, which I was afraid was going to be horrible, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had to go because Willow (my dog, in case you haven't read any older entries) was almost out of food. Plus I wanted to pick up Serenity on DVD for my sister for Christmas. And now I'm watching Jack Frost on TV and am going to watch It's a Wonderful Life at 8:00, so it's a nice Christmas Eve. Tomorrow I'll be spending the day at my sister's house, so it'll be evening before I update again. Have a nice holiday everyone!
