Oops

I missed my first day! I'm sorry holidailies! I meant to post one, but I did so much yesterday, that by the time I sat down last night I was suddenly ready to fall asleep - and it was only 8:00 at night! I forced myself to stay up for a couple more hours, but apparently my tired brain didn't want to think about posting an entry. Oops!

So why was yesterday so busy? Well, to start with, when I got up yesterday it was snowing heavy and fast. I attempted to go to work on time, but first I had to scrape an inch of ice off my car, and then I had to shovel the driveway while the car kept warming up. So I left a little late, but I would have only been about fifteen minutes late overall. But then I started driving, and the roads looked like they hadn't been plowed at all, even though I'm sure they had - it was just snowing so fast that they couldn't keep up. It was pretty damn scary, so I only got about a mile and a half, and then I turned around and came home. And by the time I got here I could only see out of a small spot in the middle of my windshield, and was very happy to pull back into my driveway. So I hung out and watched Smallville and waited for the snow to stop, which it finally did, and I was only four hours late to work. Which sucks, but it's winter in Central New York, so there you go.

And work was actually pretty fun. The students are gone and we're cleaning laptops and the boss left early so it was kind of like a party. Sort of, only without the drinks and food. But we did get to watch Christmas cartoons, and that was fun!

After work I got groceries and came home and lugged them all in and decorated my tree finally, now that I had finally bought the lights for it, and sat down, and boom! I was tired. And that's where we started this entry.
