An Entry In Bad Taste

Warning: the entry below displays very tasteless, tactless, in bad taste humor, which may only be funny to Jamie and me. But I'm sure there are some other people out there with similar senses of humor, and they might appreciate it too. Of course, this could be a case of "you had to be there." You guys will have to be the judge on that one.

Inappropriate comments made by me and Jamie during a very serious episode of Nip/Tuck, in which a plane crashed and Sean, Julia and Christian went to help the victims.

When Julia was helping a dying woman who had been badly burned, and she asked Julia to tell her daughter to have her cremated: “She’s halfway there already!”

When a guy who lost his legs to diabetes had to have his arms amputated so that he wouldn’t keep losing blood, “They can throw him in the water and call him Bob.” “They can lay him on the floor in front of the door and call him Matt.”

About the dying woman who was wearing a necklace and a Red Sox patch. Discussing taking them to the woman’s daughter, who was waiting at the airport hotel. “They probably have flesh stuck to them, they should be cleaned off first.” “No, give them to her like that. She’ll always have a piece of her Mom with her!”

These were followed by a lot of laughter. We have very similar, wicked senses of humor sometimes.

So? Tasteless and tactless, right? At least you can't say I didn't warn you!
