You will all be happy to know that I did not stress over meeting J's parents at all. We had a great weekend together, and this morning we went to the mall and got a Christmas gift for the person whose name I got in the office Secret Santa gift exchange, and I got something for Sarah for Christmas :), and then we went from the mall to his sister's house for brunch. And all of the worrying I did last week after he asked me if I wanted to do this was gone. His sister is very nice, his brother is hysterically funny, and his parents are just cute old people. The family obviously loves each other, and the siblings all get along really well, and it was nice to be around them for a couple of hours. We ate some good breakfast food and I sat and listened to J and his brother riff off each other, and watched his sister feed her two small dogs their own table food, off their own plates (spoiled much? And I thought mine were bad!), and before I knew it, we were leaving and coming back to my house to finish decorating.
And now Christmas has come to my house, even outside with the addition of icicle lights on the front porch, and the stress of meeting his family is over, as is another great weekend.
And because it's late (for me), and I'm tired and I have to get up for work tomorrow, that's all for now. I'll leave you with a picture of Willow, sitting on a Santa Claus rug that my Mom made years ago. Willow is a grouchy little thing, but she's awfully cute.

Glad the "meet the parents" dinner went well! I had my fingers crossed for you!
Aww hi Willow! If you were nicer you could come play with Dale! Did I convince you to be nicer? Huh, did I? And... what did your mommy buy me?! Cmon you can tell me, I wont tattle on you!
